Podgorica, 09 March 2023, dtt-net.com – A political party in Montenegro today submitted a request to the Constitutional Court to rule over the controversial “Basic Contract” of August 2022 of the government of Dritan Abazovic with Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC ), which ethnic Montenegrins see of being in breach of the constitution and laws, accommodating privileges for it and Serbia interests in detriment of Montenegrin state, its independent past and also independent Montenegrin Orthodox Church (MPC) of from until 1918, when Montenegro lost its independence and became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Slovenes and Croats.
