Belgrade, 28 July 2024, dtt-net.com – Street protests against the planned massive lithium project in Serbia’s western municipality Loznica are announced for the coming week in at least five towns, amid environmental concerns, days after the government signed with the EU a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of ‘Strategic Partnership’ on raw materials, batteries and electric vehicles, with the lithium extraction project aimed to start in 2028.
