Prishtina, 12 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Membership of Kosovo in the western military alliance would be the “best answer” to the stability and peace in the Western Balkans region, Kosova incumbent Prime Minister told USA Admiral and NATO Commander today.
“The Prime Minister underlined the aim and commitment of the Republic of Kosovo for full membership in NATO, as the best response to lasting peace, long-term stability and security in the region,” Kurti’s office said in a press release after his meeting with George M. Wikoff who serves as the commander of USA Naval Forces Europe and USA Naval Forces Africa.
