Skopje, 02 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of North Macedonia said it found ten kg of cocaine hidden in a vehicle and arrested the local national driver on charges of drug trafficking.
“On 01.01.2026, police officers from the Illicit Trafficking Unit at the SVR Skopje, in coordination with police officers from the Department for Suppression of Organized and Serious Crime at the Ministry of Interior, officers from the Customs Administration with a service dog, following a previously obtained court order, conducted a search of the vehicle, during which approximately 10 kilograms of cocaine were found and seized in an improvised bunker in the undercarriage of the vehicle,” police said in a press release.
