North Macedonia’s government aims to be the best in reforms needed for EU entry, but no sign of changing Constitution for Bulgarian community

Skopje, 01 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The conservative head of North Macedonia’s government today said that his cabinet aims to be this year the best country in the Western Balkans region in terms of EU-set reforms but complained again on the condition imposed by Bulgaria and embraced by other 26 member states on skopje in 2022. "Most of the steps that were supposed to be completed by the end of December have been completed. Let's see what needs to be completed, and slowly from April we take the step to be the best from the Western Balkans. This is our goal,” the Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski told reporters today.
