Party of incumbent Kosovo PM and smaller allies to have parliamentary majority following elections

Prishtina, 06 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The Vetevendosje (LVV) party of the incumbent Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti will be able to form easily a parliamentary majority with smaller ally parties from minorities and continue governing again, after winning more than 50 percent of votes in last month elections, according to preliminary results. With more than 98% of all votes counted by the Central Election Commission (CEC), Kurti’s LVV gets 50,65% and will have 57 seats in 120-seat parliament.
