Prishtina, 07 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Thousands rallied today in Kosovo capital Prishtina protesting against ongoing trial of former leaders of now disbanded Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who are indicted of war crimes by the prosecution EU-backed special court in The Hague.
Former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and several others, who led the KLA during the 1998-1999 war for independence of Serbia, are on trial after the court formed in 2015 triggered by a report of the Swiss politician, Dick Marty, adopted in 2011 by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
