Belgrade, 25 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The President of Serbia today said that he has learned of plants of EU for membership of Ukraine in the European bloc in 2027, in what he said “contrary” to existing enlargement procedures and rules of the EU, provided that there is a peace agreement reached between Ukraine and Russia.
Aleksandar Vucic told today a public government session that according to what he has heard, Ukraine becoming member of the EU in January 2027 is part of the peace plan talks involving international community too on what he called “obligations” in case Kyiv and Moscow would reach a peace deal.
