Russia-owned oil refinery in Serbia to shutdown this week if not exempted from USA sanctions, President says

Belgrade, 25 November 2025, dtt-net.com – Oil refinery in Serbia, NIS, will shutdown in four days if the USA government does not exempt it from sanctions, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said today. Vucic told reporters in a press conference today that the company owned 56,15% by Gazpromneft and Intelligence, both owned by Gazprom, needs a licence of up to 50 days to be lifted from sanctions within 48 hours.
