Belgrade, 22 May 2026, dtt-net.com - The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O’Flaherty, said the situation over human rights is deteriorating in the EU candidate country since last year.
“The Commissioner considers that the situation has deteriorated since his previous visit in April 2025,” his office said in a press statement today after returning from Belgrade he visited this month.
