Belgrade, 26 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Five opposition parties in Serbia vow to work together aimed at improving country’s image in the relation to the EU and hoping to unlock stalled membership process over what they accuse authoritarian President and the government as “deeply anti-European in its actions and value system”.
In a joint statement People’s Movement of Serbia (NPS), Movement of Free Citizens (PSG), Serbia Centre SRCE, Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP) and Green Left Front (ZLF) said they agreed “to work on strengthening the coordination of all individual activities we undertake towards the European Union, the European Commission, the European Council, and the European Parliament, as well as towards EU member states, with the aim of further consolidating the perception in EU institutions and member states that there is a clear pro-European political alternative in Serbia to the current government, which, despite its official statements, is deeply anti-European in its actions and value system.”
