“Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Pirot arrested AS (2001) from Novi Sad, due to suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of unauthorized crossing of the state border and human smuggling. Police found a Ford Focus passenger vehicle on the side of the road near the village of Studena, Babušnica municipality, which had veered off the road and hit a tree, carrying 10 irregular migrants, all Afghan citizens,” police said over the action in Pirot District near the Bulgarian border.
