Serbia President says again early elections likely to take place in year end

Belgrade, 26 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Serbian President today said that early parliamentary elections will take place in the last three months of this year but still refused to clarify if he will also call early presidential elections so he can run for prime minister position through the ruling Progressive Party (SNS) which he controls. Aleksandar Vucic today told local media that early elections will take place between October and December, thus still refusing to set a date.
