Belgrade/Prishtina, 16 January 2026, dtt-net.com – Serbian officials today told EU mediator that autonomous body for Kosovan Serb minority should be formed first in order stalled negotiations with Kosovo can be resumed, as the European bloc is trying to convince both sides to relaunch talks for implementation of 2023 unsigned agreement focused on more powers for Serb minority in Kosovo.
“I underlined that the establishment of the Community of #Serb Municipalities and the fulfilment of all agreed commitments are indispensable to restoring meaningful dialogue and enabling lasting stability,” Serbian foreign affairs minister Marko Djuric said through X after meeting in Belgrade with EU mediator Peter Sorensen.
