Brussels/Belgrade, 16 October 2025, dtt-net.com – Students of Serbia who are protesting since November last year against authoritarian President and his ruling party, today are voted by EU lawmakers amidst three finalists for European Parliament’s (EP) 2025 Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.
Members of the EP’s Foreign Affairs and Development Committees voted Serbia students together with two imprisoned journalists from Georgia and Journalists and Humanitarian Aid Workers in Palestine, with the winner of the prize to be decided next week.
