Serbia’s opposition MP accuses Slovak EU Commission Vice-President of links with lithium and battery companies pushing for controversial project with President Vucic

Belgrade, 10 October 2024, dtt-net.com – The opposition member of Serbia’s parliament, Marinika Tepic, Wednesday said that the Slovak Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Maroš Šefčovič is linked to the British-Australian Rio Tinto company for lithium mining project in Serbia, and the Slovak battery company InoBat, pushing together with Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic for the lithium mining project to happen in Loznica by the first and a related factory for battery manufacturing in Ćuprija town by the second.
