USA joins EU and Serbia leaders push for lithium project despite massive protests over environmental concerns

Washington/Belgrade/Brussels, 13 August 2024, dtt-net.com – USA’s Energy Department officials today echoed efforts of Serbia government and the European Union for implementation of planned lithium mining in west of Serbia, despite massive protests in dozens of towns of citizens and environmentalists over environmental and health concerns related to the project.
