Belgrade, 01 November 2024, dtt-net.com – Eleven people lost their lives today midday after eave collapse at the train station in northern Serbia town of Novi Sad, with rescue teams still searching for survivals under the rubble.
The Minister of Interior, Ivica Dacic, said in media statement that three people were rescued so far and they are being treated in the hospital.
Authorities say that around 30 people are injured from the collapse of the eave.
Minister Dacic said that an investigation will be launched to determine the cause of the collapse.
The government declared a Day of Mourning for Saturday (November 2) over tragic accident.
