Skopje, 01 February 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of North Macedonia said it arrested yesterday two Türkiye nationals on charges of migrants smuggling after it found four illegal migrants being transported in a vehicle.
“At around 02:30, on the Gevgelija-Skopje highway, police officers from the Bogorodica Police Station for Border Crossing and Border Surveillance stopped a passenger motor vehicle "Skoda Octavia" wagon, with Skopje license plates, owned by a rent-a-car company, driven by S.A.O., in which K.H. was a passenger,” police said in a press release.
