Prishtina, 18 February 2026, dtt-net.com – The new Parliament of Kosovo has another two weeks deadline to re-elect current President Vjosa Osmani at the top post or elect a new one, and if not the case, then the country would have to hold new parliamentary elections again.
According to the rules, election of President by the Parliament should happen 30 days prior to end of mandate, which is April 4, thus a new President should be elected no later than March 4.
