Belgrade, 23 August 2024, dtt-net.com – A six-member family, of which four children, died after midnight in a house fire in northern Serbia town of Novi Sad, country’s interior ministry said.
Authorities suspect that the fire was caused by a scooter that was connected to the power grid, according to initial findings.
By the time fire-fighters arrived at the scene it was too late for the victims.
Serbian minister of interior, Ivica Dacic, said that the bodies of the victims were transferred to the Center for Forensic Medicine for an autopsy, while authorities are intensively working to establish all the circumstances of the tragic event.
