7 EU lawmakers to observe Serbia’s early elections

Brussels/Belgrade, 16 October 2026, dtt-net.com – A delegation of seven members of the European Parliament (EP) will join an international mission to Serbia to monitor the country’s early parliamentary elections on 25 October. The EP delegation, composed of MEPs from Austria, Croatia, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Poland, will be in Serbia from 22 to 26 October 2026. According to an EP press release, the team will “assess whether the elections on 25 October are conducted in accordance with Serbia’s national laws and international standards.”
