Belgrade, 10 July 2025, dtt-net.com – The European Green Party today denounced ongoing arrests of protesters in Serbia, including of members of a local green political party which is member of European greens, and called on authoritarian President Aleksandar Vucic to meet the demand of protesters for early parliamentary elections as tensions in the country are mounting further.
“Over the past few days, the regime of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has increased its repression of peaceful demonstrators. In the western Serbian city of Uzice police arrested nine protesters.
