Prishtina, 06 August 2025, dtt-net.com – The new EU-mediator for Kosovo-Serbia negotiations aimed at “normalization” of relations between the two countries was in capital Prishtina today once more, pressing Kosovan leaders for “urgent” implementation of unsigned agreement of 2023 which focuses on forming contested autonomous body for ten Serb-predominantly municipalities according to the EU statute proposal.
After meeting he had with Kosovan President Vjosa Osmani and caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti, mediator Peter Sorensen said he had a “productive” visit in capital Prishtina, but any delivery on EU’s continuous demand by Prishtina is unlikely to happen any time soon, as Kurti continues to seek signature of the agreement in order to be implemented which Serbia side refuses.
