Prishtina, 11 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Members of new German government of Friedrich Merz today renewed calls to Kosovo authorities to focus on EU-mediated talks with Serbia, aimed at implementation of controversial deal of 2023 centred on much contested proposed autonomous body for Kosovan Serbs wanted by Serbia.
Michael Reiffenstuel, the Director for the Western Balkans, Turkiye, Council of Europe and OSCE of the German Federal Foreign Office, made the call for “constructive” engagement” to Kosovan leaders during a two-day visit in capital Prishtina, according a press release by German embassy.
