Tirana/Brussels, 22 August 2025, dtt-net.com – Albanian army will be provided with ‘Light Multirole Vehicles’ LMV2 manufactured by Italian IDV (IVECO DEFENCE VEHICLES) company, as part of an EU funded program to help Albanian army capacities, and other NATO-member countries from the Western Balkans region.
“A new milestone for LMV2: the Albanian Armed Forces will be equipped with LMV2 vehicles, in a significant program funded by the European Union under the European Peace Facility and implemented by Italy’s AID. This delivery represents IDV’s first LMV supply for Albania, further confirming the vehicle as one of our most trusted and widely deployed platforms globally, selected by over 15 nations for its protection, agility, and mission adaptability,” the company said through Instagram.
