Sarajevo, 01 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Thousands of truck drivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), today blocked 11 cargo terminals at border crossings and have suspended merchandise delivery, in a protest seeking better working conditions from local authorities, including change of visa rules for them by the EU to facilitate they work.
“Currently the cargo terminal is blocked at border crossings: Izacic, Velika Kladuša, Kamensko, Bijača, Orasje, Šamac, Pavlovica Bridge/Popovi, Bratunac, Strmica, Gradiška and Rača, while there are no major difficulties for the travel program,” the BiH auto-moto club (BIHAMK) said.
Drivers have also blocked entrances of main towns in the country.
