Tirana, 24 September 2025, dtt-net.com – Tensions and deep divisions continued in today’s session of Albanian parliament, with opposition lawmakers seeking annulment of previous one when a new government and its governing program was approved by socialist parliamentary majority without debate and interrogation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, following May elections.
Democratic Party (PD) lawmakers today called for annulment of the session of last week, when the legislative body elected Rama’s new cabinet, which includes his AI-generated “Minister” and which continues to be the cause of tensions between the two sides, but the session continued with rejection of their call and election of parliamentary committees and subcommittees members.
