Washington/Brussels, 05 October 2025, dtt-net.com – Two USA senators say Washington authorities should support the 2023 temporary agreement brokered by the EU between Kosovo and Serbia, and push for a final one to include mutual recognition between the two countries.
Senators Thom Tillis and Jeanne Shaheen in a joint amendment proposal to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026, say that agreement of two years ago should be implemented by both sides, and then the USA should support a “comprehensive final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia based on mutual recognition.”
