UN court judge rejects appeal motion to provisional release denial to the ‘Butcher of Bosnia’ sentenced to life jail over Srebrenica Genocide

Sarajevo, 02 December 2025, dtt-net.com – A judge of the UN Court today rejected an appeal by the defence of the ‘Butcher of Bosnia’, Ratko Mladic, sentenced for Srebrenica Genocide, for provisional release denied last month. President Judge Graciela Gatti Santana of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT) said the 83-year-old wartime military leader of Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) “has failed to justify reconsideration of the Decision of 11 November 2025.”
