Serbia students and citizens sign public call for early elections

Belgrade, 28 December 2025, dtt-net.com – Students and citizens of Serbia today signed a public request for early parliamentary elections, as authoritarian President refuses to set a date for early vote in 2026 for the time being. “In accordance with Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, we request the Government to send a reasoned proposal to the President of the Republic to dissolve the National Assembly and call early parliamentary elections,” reads the text signed today at the 491 stands set up in 113 locations across the country by students.
