Sarajevo, 28 January 2026, dtt-net.com – The Sarajevo City Assembly today agreed to join the criminal proceedings in Milan court against the “Snipers” in Sarajevo which relates to the case opened by Milan prosecution over killings of Sarajevo civilians by Italian nationals known as “Safari Sarajevo” and organized by Serb forces in exchange of money during the 1992-1999 war in the country.
“... the City Council of the City of Sarajevo, at the proposal of the Mayor [Samir Avdić], adopted a decision giving consent for the City of Sarajevo to join the criminal proceedings being conducted before the competent judicial authorities in Milan against persons suspected of sniping against the citizens of Sarajevo during the past war, in the capacity of an injured party...”, reads teh conclusion of the assembly.
