Prishtina, 06 March 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovo’s outgoing President Vjosa Osmani today signed a decree dissolving the Parliament after lawmakers failed last night to elect a new President, with date for early parliamentary elections expected to be decided in coming days.
Political parliamentary parties are now expected to launch consultations with Osmani to set election date which according to the Constitution should be held within 45 days, but a complaint of the main ruling party of the Prime Minister Albin Kurti to the Constitutional Court could delay elections for few days.
