Former mayor accuses Kosovo PM of “treason” toward Presevo Valley Albanians in Serbia

Prishtina/Presheva, 18 March 2026, dtt-net.com – A former mayor of Presevo municipality in Southern Serbia accused the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti of what he called “treason” toward ethnic Albanians of the Presevo Valley in Serbia, claiming that the latter has not kept his word of fighting at EU-mediated talks in Brussels for more rights for valley’s Albanians. “Treason has a name. Albin Kurti betrays the Valley!” Shqiprim Arifi wrote through his Facebbok account, recalling Kurti’s earlier calls and pledges for reciprocity of rights between Valley’s Albanians and Serbs in Kosovo.
