Albania opposition calls for resignation of minister amid alleged insult toward North Macedonia Albanians

Tirana, 27 April 2026, dtt-net.com – The main opposition party in Albana is calling for resignation of country’s new minister of foreign affairs Ferit Hoxha, over alleged insult of his toward Albanians in North Macedonia. Friday (April 24), a lawmaker of the Democratic Party (PD) alleged through Facebook that Hoxha used offensive language towards Albanians in North Macedonia in an internal exchange via Whatsapp in a group which included Albania’s Ambassador to North Macedonia, Denion Meidani too.
