Belgrade, 15 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Serbia opposition parties today called for resignation of Interior Minister and country’s police director, after Chief of capital Belgrade police was interviewed today by the prosecution on suspicion of covering up a murder in the town three days ago.
The prosecutor’s office said it questioned today Veselin Milić “due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that, as the head of the Police Department for the city of Belgrade, he committed several criminal acts in order to cover up the committed criminal act of aggravated murder in an attempt at a restaurant in Senjak on May 12, 2026, after which, the next day, A.N. was reported missing.”
