Sarajevo/Zagreb, 16 May 2026, dtt-net.com – The Parliament of Croatia today became the first EU country which amended its law on foreigners enabling long term visas for drivers of export and import professionals and bus drivers, a move which comes after several street protests of transporters from Western Balkans countries over limitations to their daily work caused by current EU visa regime system.
According to the amended law the same who have business deals in importing or exporting merchandise from/to Croatia or drivers of international buss lines will be granted visas for up to one year for their work.
