Talks over purchase of shares by Hungarian MOL from Russia-owned oil refinery in Serbia “not going well”, according to President

Belgrade, 21 May 2026, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic said today that the talks over plans of MOL to purchase majority shares owned by Russian Gazprom in NIS oil refinery in Serbia are “not going well”, a move which would end USA sanctions on the refinery in the country as told by Washington. Vucic said so in a press conference but did not provide details over his concerns.
