Tirana, 08 June 2026, dtt-net.com – A five-year food safety project is launched in Albania today, funded by the European Union (EUR 12.5 million) and the German Government (EUR 1 million), aimed at bringing Albanian farmers and businesses of the sector closer to European Union standards.
The initiative is implemented by Deutsche Gesell-schaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
