Belgrade, 23 August 2026, dtt-net.com – Four EU member countries have started sending helicopters, vehicles and firefighters to help Serbia authorities in the fight against ongoing devastating wildfires.
4 helicopters from Czechia, Romania and Slovakia are already deployed with dozens of firefighters and vehicles, while firefighters and vehicles from Germany are expected to be deployed on Monday, after Serbian government sought help through EU Mechanism for Civilian Protection.
