Prishtina, 12 September 2026, dtt-net.com -Dozens of thousands of Kosovo Albanians rallied today in capital Prishtina in support to former President Hashim Thaçi and three other former leaders of the now disbanded Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), indicted of war crimes during the 1998-1999 war of independence from Serbia, as judges of The Hague-based special court will render verdict in four days.
According to the war veteran organization which organized the rally, nearly 100 000 people gathered today in capital town as judges of the Special Court in The Hague will render trial verdict on 16 September.
Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are charged on the basis of individual criminal responsibility with six counts of crimes against humanity: persecution, imprisonment, other Inhumane acts, torture, murder, and enforced disappearance of persons.
