Kosovo war veterans protest in front of EU office and several towns in support of sentenced former President on war crimes charges

Prishtina, 05 November 2026, dtt-net.com – Kosovo Albanian war veterans today held a symbolic peaceful rally in front of the EU delegation office in capital Prishtina, in support of the former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and three other former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) found guilty and sentenced in September by a panel of first instance made of European and American judges of war crimes charges. “Serbia massacres our people; the special court is massacring the truth. Europe, it has been 6 years that you are betraying Kosovo’s faith in your justice,” reads the banner they posted at the entrance door of the EU office in Prishtina during the rally.
