Prishtina, 14 April 2026, dtt-net.com – A member of the Kosovo parliament from the ruling Vetevendosje (LVV) party and a government spokesperson are sentenced to 18 months of prison sentence by a local judge over verbal attacks on a judge and a prosecutor over a trial involving three Serbs related to an attack in 2022 on offices of election commission.
MP Egzon Azemi and new spokesperson of Albin Kurti’s government, Arlind Manxhuka, are sentenced of “inciting hatred and intolerance”, after calling judge Mentor Bajraktari and special prosecutor Afrim Shefkiu “traitors” and calling for their execution through Facebook, after the court in capital Prishtina agreed that one of Serbs charged can be released from detention pending trial.
