Tirana, 12 September 2025, dtt-net.com – After a tense start of the session, Albanian new 140 lawmakers today took oath after May 11 elections, and later a new Speaker of the legislative body was elected from the ruling Socialist Party (PS).
Niko Peleshi was elected with 84 votes, with the voting boycotted by opposition parties.
