Tirana, 06 August 2025, 06 August 2025 – Albanian main opposition party is gearing up to launch new wave of protests against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama, as it continues to accuse it of election fraud in May parliamentary elections.
The leader of the Democratic Party (PD) and the former prime minister, Sali Berisha, said the party will try “mobilize” citizens against what he called Rama’s “narco-state” after summer holiday, likely in September.
