Sarajevo, 17 September 2026, dtt-net.com – Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) said it found and seized during a two-day action 1 ton of synthetic drug in Sarajevo canton and arrested one suspect.
“As part of the joint operational action codenamed "Bure", carried out in the Ilijaš municipality (Sarajevo Canton), after continuous work on the case, on September 16 and 17, 2026, the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Indirect Taxation Administration of BiH, with the assistance of police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton, made the largest seizure of synthetic narcotics with a total mass of 1,095 kilograms (approximately 1.1 tons),” it said in a press release.
