Sofia/Skopje, 04 April 2026, dtt-net.com - Over 210,000 citizens of North Macedonia have declared and submitted documents that they are of ethnic Bulgarian origin, according to Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marin Raykov, a claim that comes at a time when Bulgaria and the EU continue pressure on Skopje to include Bulgarian community in the country's constitution, a pre-condition for EU accession process blocked for nearly 4 years already.
