Washington/Prishtina, 18 July 2023, dtt-net.com – The USA special envoy for Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, today told a Congress subcommittee hearing that the quicker the USA helps the region with American LNG supplies and on building more renewable sources capacities, the faster will Washington “be able to counter Russian influence in the region”, referring to the natural gas dependency from Russia of Serbia and also Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and North Macedonia.
