Brussels/Belgrade, 07 February 2023, dtt-net.com – Serbian ministry of economy said yesterday that it was told by the European Commission (EC) that it has met all criteria for opening Chapter 1 – Free movement of goods – in EU accession negotiations, but the EC today denied the claim and explained that Serbian government still needs to finalize and adopt “certain documents” over related chapter, before a formal assessment is made.
