Belgrade/Brussels, 25 October 2024, dtt-net.com – The President of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen today in a press conference in Belgrade encouraged Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic and his government to push forward with the lithium mining project in west of the country, over which the EC and Serbia have signed a “groundbreaking” partnership in July, but she failed to talk about refusal of Belgrade to join European bloc’s sanctions on Russia over military aggression on Ukraine.
